EuroJeunesse is a non-profit organization, created by young people and mainly destined to young people. It works in the realization of transnational projects favoring the international mobility, in particular by intercultural exchanges of young people, professional internships, trainings or European voluntary services. These projects allow to raise awareness the youth to values of tolerance, equality, justice, democracy and sustainable development. EuroJeunesse promotes besides a commitment of young people in favor of the construction of a space of peace, dialogue and solidarity between nations.
By actions of abroad mobility, EuroJeunesse also has for goal social and professional insertion of young people living in the 5 departments of the region Languedoc-Roussillon and answering to certain social and level criteria of qualification (young people having fewer opportunities). EuroJeunesse takes care of the young people and guide them during all the mobility time, including for the various administrative procedures.
Besides, EuroJeunesse brings information on the European current events and is incorporated in a perspective of active cooperation around international projects, particularly in Europe but also in the Maghreb, in Asia, in Africa or on the American continent.
The device of mobility which EuroJeunesse proposes is essentially financed by the European Commission.
